kelvin BlakeKelvin works for BT. He is an experienced Programme Director with a proven track record in the successful delivery of high profile transformational programmes. He has over eighteen years experience in the management of technology programmes and specializes in the programme management of high complexity, large-scale, customer strategic transformations. He has a track record generating benefits from technology-led programmes, as well as transforming organisations and their services.

Kelvin is also a member of the BT South West Regional Board that ensures BT is represented across the region in business and community activities. It is also responsible for delivering BT strategic goals including super-fast broadband and Digital Britain.

Previously Kelvin worked for RTZ, POst Office Counters and Royal and Sun Alliance.

Outside of work Kelvin is active in the Bristol community. As well as being a Trustee of The Vassal Centre Trust, he is a Non Executive Director of University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. He is also a trustee of the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA), the leading national charity for spinal cord injured people that offers support and assistance to paralysed people. Kelvin is also a member of the board for the Bristol Cultural Development Partnership (BCDP) that promotes new artistic and cultural developments of national significance in Bristol and across the West of England by running conferences, research projects and initiatives that celebrate the creative potential of Bristol, including the Creative Bristol Programme.

Kelvin is a former Bristol City Councillor for Filwood ward in the south of the city and during his time as a Councillor he was Chair of Regeneration and a member of the cabinet.
