Tenancies Available

From time-to-time we have barrier-free office space available. Organisations that employ disabled people or intend to do so (as soon as they are in barrier-free workspace) are welcome to apply, as are organisations that offer services to disabled people. Self-employed disabled people are also encouraged to make enquiries: we can sometimes offer shared offices or deskspace to reduce your costs.

Criteria for selection

We have a wide range of tenants. Organisations must:

• Be led by disabled people or have disabled people involved as trustees or as part of a management committee. (Or have a firm commitment and strategy for this to happen.)
• Be committed to employing disabled people. Some organisations that do not yet employ disabled people may be accepted if they undertake to increase the number of disabled people they employ.
• Need accessible, barrier-free accommodation.
• Have an equal opportunities policy that offers disabled people a real chance to work as trustees, staff and volunteers.

The Future

When more space has been regenerated we plan to offer management and administrative support to tenant organisations and social and business enterprises set up by disabled people.
